Introducing Instagram Stories Reports (Beta)
The most common request we’ve been getting at Crowdbabble is people asking us: When will Crowdbabble provide reports for Instagram Stories?
Well, we have some exciting news to share. We just introduced Instagram Stories Analytics in beta!
How to View Analytics for your Instagram Stories
If you have added an Instagram account to the Crowdbabble dashboard, you will automatically get access to Instagram Stories analytics alongside all the usual Instagram analytics reports.
Here is how you can quickly get started:
Step 1: Login to Crowdbabble and go to your dashboard.
Step 2: Connect your Instagram account to Crowdbabble
If you have already done this and you can see your Instagram account on the dashboard, skip to Step 3.
Otherwise, connect your Instagram account by following these steps (there is also a video walkthrough below):
- Click on the Instagram “Connect” button (it should be greyed out)
- You will see a “Log in to facebook” button. Before you click on it, make sure you are logged into the right Facebook account that is associated with the Instagram Business account you want to connect
- Click on the “+” under the Instagram logo. Select the correct Facebook account that is linked with your Instagram Business account and click “add”.
Step 3: From your dashboard, click on the Instagram account that you want to analyze and click on the STORIES (beta) tab.
Top Performing Stories
The first thing you will see are the top 5 performing stories during the chosen time period.
These are the top 5 performing stories with the highest reach.
All Stories
Once you scroll down, you will see a list of all the stories published during the chosen time period.
Click on any of the headers to sort the stories. For example if you wanted to see the story that had the most Backward Taps, click on “Back Taps” to sort all the stories by this metric.
If you are not able to see a specific story that you have published, change the time period at the top.
